What is Glasgow Canal Co-op?
Glasgow Canal Co-op is a collective of businesses and organisations based in and around Glasgow’s Forth and Clyde Canal between Port Dundas and Firhill Basin in the north of the city.
We’re a close-knit neighbourhood with a pioneering spirit all connected by the canal’s fascinating heritage.
What does the Glasgow Canal Co-op do?
We’re working together to unlock the canal’s potential to create a vibrant area for people to live, work and visit.
North Glasgow has a set of unique assets, including its urban heritage, outdoor space and wildlife, artistic talent and sporting destinations, which paired with the thriving organisations and brilliant people based there, make it an area with much to celebrate.
The Co-op’s members help generate and map out the growth of the area, helping to shape how this part of the city should develop and regenerate.
Glasgow’s canal is a hub for innovation, creativity and regeneration and we’re here to help it thrive.
