About this event
This is the only period during which the general public will be able to ride the Take The North course. Sign up early to avoid disappointment as there are limited spaces available!

Under 16s must wear a helmet and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Less experienced riders are recommended to join the “Free Lessons” sessions on Thursday instead. All riders will be asked to complete a waiver form.

August 7th : The Main Event

Over 15 invitation-only BMX street riders from the UK and beyond will go head-to-head on a purpose-built, 280 square metre course designed by Vision Ramps, in an incredible venue by the Forth & Clyde canal in Glasgow. £3000 in prize money is up for grabs.

The Venue “Live At No.40” is situated on Edington Street and will have space for over 200 spectators to enjoy the finals under the canopy. Scotland hasn’t seen a BMX event of this size for a few years due to the pandemic and we are stoked to be able to deliver one in such an exciting space. Live at No.40 will be serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and a limited number of alcoholic drinks.

The final course design will be launched next week, and we will be posting regular updates on our Instagram page as other details are finalised: @takethenorth_
