Scottish Canals

Scottish Canals are in charge of the five canals in Scotland, managing and operating 140 miles of the nation’s inland waterways, including the Forth and Clyde Canal.

A key partner of the Glasgow Canal Co-op, Scottish Canals aim to conserve the canals as part of our heritage and transform them to play a vital role in Scotland today.

They are based at Canal House on Applecross Street at the Forth and Clyde Canal.

Whether you’re looking to lease a mooring, find out more about volunteering on the canal, or something else, you can contact Scottish Canals.
